The post holder will be employed as a Training Consultant, working primarily on business services and innovation mentoring programmes within SERC. The post holder will deliver, assess the qualifications required by industry and mentor businesses to bring new products, processes, or services to market. The post-holder will deliver on SERC’s Business Engagement strategy by developing relationships with companies and assessing how their training and development needs could be met. The post holder will deliver knowledge and skills transfer through a range of methods such as training, workshop sessions, assessment, and mentoring. The post-holder will have clear targets to increase the volume of work and income within their area and for ensuring that the relevant school within SERC benefits from the industrial engagement in terms of knowledge transfer and curriculum development.
