Role Overview
To provide an effective and efficient Site engineering role
What you'll do
The following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive:

  • Compliance with Health & Safety Regulations ensuring that all issues of Health & Safety are monitored regularly and accurate records maintained
  • Implement and monitor Health & Safety and ensure compliance by on site team
  • Supervise and monitor other Engineers and Setting-Out activity
  • Preparation and organisation of programme for work activities
  • External contact with sub-contractors and ensure timely payments are made
  • Implement and monitor Quality Assurance and ensure compliance by on site team
  • Provide efficient reporting on progress to management
  • Undertake to handle contractual issues as per conditions of contract
  • Attend supervision, training and meetings as required.
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as required

What you'll bring:

As an Engineer your main skills and experience will include:

  • Third level qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a Civil Engineering role
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Ability to successfully implement, maintain and ensure compliance of Health & Safety legislation
  • Commercially aware of economies and efficiencies
  • Prepared to travel to site locations within the UK and Ireland
  • Full valid driving licence
  • IT literate in all Microsoft Office applications


  • CSR/CSCS Qualification or equivalent
  • Experience of using AutoCAD or other equivalent software
