The Role

Working as part of the Payroll Team to deliver Payroll service to all Almac UK, ROI and international divisions. In addition to day-to-day payroll activities, the Payroll Team Lead will liaise with all Business Units to close out payroll related queries. As part of a busy team within a rapidly growing organisation, operating within a challenging industry you will benefit from the numerous personal and professional developmental opportunities available throughout the Almac group.

Essential Criteria

Significant previous experience gained in a medium to large company, within a Payroll Department

Previous experience mentoring/co-ordinating work of colleagues within a Payroll Department

5 GCSEs or equivalent to include Maths and English

Desirable Criteria

(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)

CIPP Payroll Technician

ICB or Payroll Related qualification

Previous experience within a Payroll Team Lead role gained in a medium to large company

Respond quickly and accurately on Payroll related queries and advise on clear courses of action whilst demonstrating up-to-date knowledge and interest in latest Payroll developments
