Almac Diagnostic Services is a personalised medicine company focused on the discovery, development and commercialisation of diagnostic and companion diagnostic tests. We partner with biopharma companies to provide solutions ranging from sample management, biomarker discovery to companion diagnostic development including regulatory submissions and commercialisation. We also facilitate biomarker clinical trial management and clinical test delivery from our CLIA-accredited lab. The tests developed at Almac Diagnostic Services have a wide range of applications including patient selection, and are utilised in phase I to phase III registrational clinical trials.

Due to significant growth and new contract wins, we are excited to be expanding our Operations Team and are seeking experienced Operations Team Leaders for our new Evening Shift (Monday to Friday 15.30 to 00.00, relevant shift premium will apply on top of competitive basic salary).
We have Team Leader positions available in each of the following areas:
Sample Management: Management of specimen inventory, laboratory processing, reporting of large cohorts of patient samples to support ongoing clinical trials.
Biomarker Discovery: Management of high-throughput genomics, including next-generation sequencing, and data interpretation or large retrospective cohorts to support biomarker discovery.
Assay Development & Validation: Manage the development and analytical validation of RUO and IUO Clinical Trial Assays across a range of platforms including qPCR, NGS, ddCPR, and Nanostring.

To be successful in this role, you will need a BSc in Molecular Biology (or a related Life Sciences discipline) or equivalent relevant experience within this field. You will also bring significant experience gained within a Molecular Biology Laboratory, previous experience implementing new genomic or proteomic technologies, and substantial experience in troubleshooting molecular laboratory techniques.
