OPERATIONS CO-ORDINATOR – LAGAN VALLEY LEISUREPLEX (CASUAL)
CASUAL RATE: Scale SO1, NJC Spinal Column Point 23, £14.38 per hour
KEY PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
As a member of the Lagan Valley LeisurePlex Management Team the post holder will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for:
- Coordinating the deployment of Senior Leisure Assistants, Leisure Assistants within Lagan Valley LeisurePlex in accordance with Council strategies, policies and budgets.
- Assist the Operations Manager in the effective and efficient management of Lagan Valley LeisurePlex. In line with corporate objectives coordinate activities within the centre to include the approach to best value, the application of business improvement, financial planning and staff development.
- Act as a manager on duty for the facility within the agreed rota and act as a key holder for the Leisureplex, undertaking any other appropriate duties as may be assigned by the Operations Manager, including cover for sickness, leave or staff vacancies and will deputise for the Operations Manager as required.
- Liaising with contracted cleaning, security and caretaking companies to ensure the availability and provision of high quality, well maintained, clean and safe facilities and equipment to support the operational programme of the LeisurePlex, grounds, 3G pitches and Recreation Centre.
