Almac employ over 150 highly skilled scientists working in GMP / GLP environments across UK, Europe and US with significant experience in the analysis of both small and large molecules. Our state-of-the-art labs support drug substance (API) and drug product (finished product) analytics across all phases of clinical development and into commercial release.
Working as part of the team based in our Almac Sciences site in Athlone, the Microbiology Scientist will perform the day to day workings of the cGMP Microbiology Laboratories within ASI. Ensuring the delivery of a top quality microbiological testing service to our External Irish and International client base and our Internal client base also.

- Leaving Certificate, grades A-C, including Mathematics and English Language
- Degree level qualification in Microbiology or Science related discipline or equivalent experience
- Theoretical knowledge of multiple laboratory techniques
- Relevant Laboratory experience
