To form part of a trained team of frontline staff who will provide attendant support to the public and staff to ensure a safe and user friendly environment. 
To deliver a high quality service in a professional manner in accordance with Leisure Services policies and procedures, including a nationally accredited quality scheme. 
Temporary pending service review to 31 March 2022 (however this duration may vary if Service review concludes earlier or may be extended or made permanent)
Scale 2, SCP  3-4, currently £18,562 – £18,933 per annum based on a 37 hour week (pro rata to hours worked).  It is Council policy to appoint at minimum salary scale point. The working pattern above currently attracts a 10% shift allowance / or enhancements for weekend working.
Pay frequency is monthly by BACS (Bank Automated Clearing System) in arrears on the third last banking day of the month.
Hours of work are: 37 hours per week.  –  The post holder must be prepared to work outside normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, and Public and extra Statutory Holidays for which the appropriate payment will be made or time in lieu granted if relevant.

Week 1  Mon 7hrs; Thurs 8hrs; Fri 8hrs; Sat 8.5hrs; Sun 5.5hrs Total 37hrs
Week 2 Mon 7.5hrs; Tues 8hrs; Wed 7.5hrs; Thurs 6.5hrs; Fri 7.5hrs; Total 37hrs
Week 3 Mon 8hrs; Turs 6hrs; Wed 8hrs; Thurs 7.5hrs; Fri 6.5hrs Total 37hrs
Work Pattern Post 2 – Bridge Centre, Killyleagh
Week 1 Tues 7.5hrs; Wed 7.5hrs; Thurs 8hrs; Sat 8.5hrs Sun 5.5 hrs Total 37hrs
Week 2 Mon 7.5hrs; Turs 7.5hrs; Wed 7.5hrs; Thurs 7.5hrs Fri 7hrs; Total 37hrs
These posts are not eligible to participate in the Flexi Scheme.
Whilst the current vacancies are based in Ballynahinch and Killyleagh respectively, suitable candidates who are placed on a reserve list may be offered a similar post in other Council locations. The post holder may be required to transfer to other locations in accordance with any requirements stated in the Job Description, any reviews of service delivery or other requirements as may arise from time to time.  Any amendments made to work location will be implemented following appropriate consultation and provision of reasonable notice.
