Scale SO1, NJC Spinal Column Points 23-25, £27,741 – £29,577 per annum


The post-holder is responsible for the co-ordination and development of the Hilden Mill School, heritage trail(s), exhibition content, the recruitment and training of Volunteer Heritage Advocates, and the development of education resources (including online resources) which support engagement with visiting schools and groups.

The post-holder will establish a framework for the development of relationships between local community, voluntary and statutory bodies to ensure collaborative working between the Council and the local community.

Please note this is a regulated post, as defined in the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups (SVG) Act 2006 and the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups (NI) Order 2007, both amended (in particular by, respectively, section 64 and Schedule 7, Protection of Freedoms Act 2012).  Also as defined in the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Order 2007 (SVGO) and as amended by the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 (PoFA).
