Job Title: General Manager

Reports To: COO and Directors

Role Outline: As the General Manager, you will be fully accountable for all aspects of the sales and operations of the company including specialist venues with café, tea rooms and weddings, conferences and a range of various sized events from large to small serving a range of food and drink, managing a permanent and causal team.   The role requires a high level of interaction and communication with the clients and internal teams, so exceptional communication skills are essential. The quality of food produced is extremely high as are so a strong food knowledge and background is required along with running bar service.

General Manager – Responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high-quality service in accordance with customer requirements across locations
Responsible for the sales process for the business
Full P/L control
Management of the teams within the business
You are a confident, achievement-focused individual who has the drive to deliver a quality service and is committed to securing development and continuous improvement.
Deliver company operations strategy
Ability to multitask in a very dynamic customer facing operational.

General Manager – Requirements
​​​​​​​
have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Catering/Hospitality/Events Manager/Supervisor with a career background within Catering and licencing environment
have worked within Catering & Hospitality
have proven experience of working within multi-site operation
be an extremely strong manager with the proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a large team
have experience of catering for high end catering as well as extensive functions and events
be genuinely passionate about fresh, locally sourced ingredients
be able to think logistically and work under pressure whilst remaining calm and professional at all times
