The Mount Charles Group is seeking for an experienced and dynamic Cook Supervisor to join our catering team at the Moy Park Craigavon.
What you'll do in this role
As the Cook Supervisor, you will be accountable for all aspects of the kitchen delivery during your shift, including the supervising of the kitchen team, menu planning and hospitality. Everything we do as a business is built on the enthusiasm and professionalism of the people in our team roles. The quality of food produced is extremely high as are the client expectations, so a strong passion and enthusiasm to the role is key.

Key duties and responsibilities will include but are not restricted to;
Ensuring the food service achieves maximum efficiency, achieving a high standard of customer satisfaction at all times.
A cook that can produce great tasting food, challenge standards and ensure quality and consistency to company and brand specifications
Ensuring all HACCP is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensuring all Food Safety and Health & Safety Legislation requirements are always adhered to.
Supervising a team of kitchen staff whilst on duty
Locking up the unit as per company procedure
Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed to the highest of standards
Resolving or reporting any issues to the unit manager
The ideal Candidate will have:
Experience preparing hot and cold meals, snacks, bakery and sweets.
Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, deal with issues as they arise and contribute in all areas of supervising a kitchen and providing a great food service.
Food Hygiene Level 2
To promote and contribute to a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect and dignity.
To ensure a safe environment is maintained in compliance with health, safety, fire, hygiene and security legislation and company policies and procedures.
It is desired that the successful applicant will hold a valid Intermediate Food Safety in Catering certificate or equivalent.
Rate of pay: Negotiable depending on experience.
Hours of Work: 27.5 hours per week. Monday – Friday 4pm – 10pm
