The Role

The Commercial Co-Ordinator works to support pricing of service contracts, rate requests, tenders and tariff implementation and is a highly commercial role. The primary responsibility of the role is to generate detailed cost analysis for bespoke biomarker services and determine the appropriate pricing structure. It involves working to tight timelines with the laboratory and bioinformatics teams to define the scope of the biomarker programme along with estimating the required reagent/consumables in order to produce a proposal quotation for the client. The role requires good financial and analytical ability and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Accounting, Finance, or Business discipline (or equivalent level qualification)
  • Demonstrable Advance Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Previous experience in a commercial business environment

Desirable Criteria
(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)

  • Previous experience in an Accounting/Financial Analysis role (in particular for tailored services /products)
  • Previous experience working within the Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Diagnostics sector
