Band:  Band 5 on NHS scale (£24,907 – £30,615 per annum, pro rata for part-time), mileage rates apply

Contract:  Part Time and Waiting List
This is a combined role based between Southern Health & Social Care Trust Area and Horizon House IPU (predominantly community based role)
*The SHSCT areas covered are Armagh, Banbridge, Craigavon, Dungannon, & Newry and Mourne.

Hours:  16-20 hours per week (may be negotiable); 20+ Hour Contracts may also be available if interested in additional hours

Shifts:  Nightshift cover preferred (10pm-7am)
Combination of Days and Nights shifts also available if preferred.

Who can apply? 
Applications are welcomed from:
Registered Nurses on the NMC Register Level 1 (Children’s)  
Registered Nurses on the NMC Register Level 1 (Adult or Learning Disability) with relevant experience working with Children

In a nutshell:
The Staff Nurse will work predominantly in the child’s own home within the trust but will also be required to work in the Children’s IPU. He/she will participate in the assessment, planning and delivery of care to the children and the delegation of care to non-registered members of the care team promoting a philosophy of holistic care and active engagement of children and families. The role will include both day and night duty.
