The Role
Working as part of the team based in our Almac Sciences site in Athlone, the Scientist will perform development and phase appropriate validation of analytical methods in support of the manufacturing projects for small and large molecules. These include, but are not limited to, determination of assay and related substances by HPLC/UHPLC/GC, determination of residual solvent content by GC, determination of water content by KF, counter ion content by IC.

Essential Criteria

  • Leaving Certificate, grades A-C, including Mathematics and English Language
  • Degree level qualification in an Analytical/Chemistry related discipline or equivalent experience
  • Theoretical knowledge of multiple laboratory techniques
  • Relevant Laboratory experience

Desirable Criteria
(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)

  • Previous relevant industrial experience in a GMP/GLP environment
